Staging is the art of decorating a property so it present in the best possible light to as many potential buyers as possible.  Staging gives your property an competitive edge by infusing it with as much "curb appeal" as possible...inside AND out!   Some people think of staging as "landscaping the interior."

Does Staging work?   

Absolutely!  Consider this: More than 90% of the people looking at homes for sale do not have the power to visualize what can be done with an empty space or a house that is not presenting to its fullest potential.  BUT they do know when they see a house they like or when a room "feels good."  And almost all of them make up their minds within 30 seconds of entering a house for sale.  Remember, you only get one chance to make a good first impression!

Empty houses leave empty feelings. Bringing in furniture creates a "move right-in" feeling AND helps define the flow of a house, which may be obvious to you, but not to others. 

Where is your house located? 

If you are in a resort area like the Hamptons, staging is particularly effective because buyers are looking for the "complete package" more and more frequently.  Being able to offer a house in "turnkey" or "move-in condition" is a great selling point and gives you a tremendous advantage.
